Travelator of destiny
There's a Travelator in Greenhills Shopping centre in East Maitland. Not to be confused with the one in Greenhills Shopping Precinct in San Juan in the Philippines.
But if you're closer to that one I'll allow it.
Anyway, whichever. They're much of a muchness.
Shopping Centres the wide world over.
You know what shopping centres the wide world over have killed off? Buskers, three legged dogs, town drunks, fresh air.
But apart from that what have the Romans ever done for us?
Anyway back to the Travelator. Escalators have steps. Travelators are flat. Or tilted.
So the one going from near jb hifi to the first floor.
You have to be ready. Don't get on when it's packed. Lose the effect.
So you step on.
Now you're in a realm between worlds.
It's slow. It's peaceful. It's not up there yet but it's not back there anymore.
Breathe. Are there any terrible things happening now? No.
But if there was you'd take action and change things.
For now you're centred and at peace. Your blessed short life to resume soon, has left where it was, to get where its going and that, my friend, is the same for every second you're alive.
Don't miss it. It's not forever.
